Ms. Uecker Invited to Take Part in Columbia University Symposium
Symposium Descripton:
This program, titled "Living Questions in The World", will combine student research presentations with two talented, inspiring speakers. We are opening the day with a performance by noted opera soprano, Korliss Uecker, who will then talk about the ways in which research allows her to embody her roles. Dr. Michio Kaku, theoretical physicist, tenured professor, and co-creator of string field theory, will be our second featured speaker. Later in the day, a group of seniors will present their inquiry projects to juniors and new teachers. The event should prove to be lively, offbeat and fun.
