Soprano Audrey Luna, who Opera News says “has power and a blazing coloratura facility that most lyric sopranos can only dream of,” continues to be one of the opera world’s most exciting artists. Ms. Luna's performances as Ariel in Thomas Adès’s The Tempest were reviewed by the New York Times: "Mr. Adès’s Ariel is a dazzling creation, and Ms. Luna conquers the role.” Her performance as Ariel won a 2014 Grammy Award for, “Best Opera Recording.” Following her first performances of Ariel at Festival Opéra de Québec, she has gone on to perform the role in such houses as the Metropolitan Opera and Wiener Staatsoper.
