Tenor Christopher Bozeka is quickly becoming recognized for his “expressively captivating” performances as well as his “beautiful, piercing tone” (San Francisco Chronicle). In the 2019-20 season, he returns to Houston Grand Opera as Don Gaspar in La favorite, the Messenger in Aida, and the Fourth Jew in Salome, and to Opera Las Vegas as Tamino in Die Zauberflöte; and sings Nadir in Bottesini’s Ali Baba with Opera Southwest, and as soloist in concerts with Firelands Symphony Orchestra and Ars Lyrica Houston. In the summer of 2020, he returns to Wolf Trap Opera as Toni Reischmann in Hans Werner Henze’s Elegy for Young Lovers.
